- [Instructor] In this lesson, we're going to talk about SD-WAN policies. Now, SD-WAN policies are going to be able to provide network engineers with a wide variety of methods to modify the forwarding behavior to meet the needs of the business outcomes. So, more importantly, why is this section relevant? This is going to be where you can actually start to make changes quickly to meet the needs of the business. So you're no longer being cost overhead, you're being an enabler of IT. So with that being said, policies allow for widespread changes in organizations in a very quick fashion. They also can be applied to any device in the fabric, whether they're physical, or virtual, or cloud-based. So even if they're running in your data center or somebody else's data center, or they're up in Azure, or AWS, or GCP, or in a Megaport or Equinix facility, you can still apply the same policy towards them, okay.
