- [Instructor] Now some of the downfalls of using the static route net overload is it could result in leaked traffic due the routing table being inaccurate or incomplete. And let me give you an example. Let's assume that there was a network prefix of 172.16.1.0/24 that you wanted to gain connectivity to. And that route did not make it over because it wasn't advertised into OMP properly. Well, what would end up happening is the user over here at your branch, as he sends that traffic, it would do the route lookup and would see that there is not a route and then would actually forward it out of that interface because of the net. The other thing that you don't have when you do network address translation, just using the static route net overload is it's basically limiting you to only doing net via network addresses, okay?
