- [Instructor] So now when it comes time to upgrade the controllers, the controllers are going to be upgraded in the following steps. We're going to check the compatibility matrix first and foremost, because we want to make sure that we have a thought out plan as far as what version of code we're going to put on the controllers, that's the vBonds, the vSmarts, and the vManages, as well as what's going on in our edge devices. So we want to make sure that, you know, we are taking into account any potential software defects over the features that we want to deploy. So we always want to start by checking the compatibility matrix. The next thing we're going to do is we would then upload the new software version to the software repository. And so that is essential so that we can actually start to patch the versions of code on the appropriate functions. Okay?
