- [Instructor] In this lesson, we're going to review the SD-WAN QoS configuration. Now to start with, we have two options for classification. So we can match on the 6-tuple, which is the source and destination IP address, source and destination port, the DSCP markings, and what is the actual protocol. We can do that through either an ACL or data policy. In addition, we can do application matching using the NBAR engine within the data policy. Now with my personal reference, I actually prefer doing everything within a data policy. Now, in addition doing classification, if we want to, we can actually rewrite the DSCP of the original packet, and that goes back to the remarking component from the earlier lesson. Now, in addition to that, we can also do policing, either on ingress or egress to our device. And as we start the process of encapsulating the original payload to be sent across the underlay network, one of the things we'll do is we'll follow RFC guidelines, and we'll take the DSCP…
