Building VPN interface feature templates
- [Instructor] So, now that we've built out the VPN feature template, let's build out the VPN interface feature template. And so if you think about this, this is going to be the settings related to what's a static IP address, the MTU, any ACLs, if we're going to apply any QoS policy maps. If we're doing things like tunnel termination, and when we're doing tunnel termination, what colors do we want to associate to that, right? And so, you know, one of the things that we need to talk about is the path of last resort. And so we talked about MPLS and internet at a high level, but some people are using LTE as an option. And so other times there could be other metered services. And so if you think about that, there's going to be bandwidth to keep that tunnel up and online. So what the path of the last resort is it allows us to use an interface that's typically on a metered connection. And what we are going to do is basically configure that interface as a path of last resort. And so what…
