Building VPN feature templates
- In this lesson, we're going to continue to build out some of the common feature templates that we need to build that device template. We're going to work on the VPN feature template. What is the VPN feature template? Why, quite simply it's what are the common VRF settings that we're going to use? It's going to define the actual VPN in numerical format and we have the option to provide it with a friendly name. We're going to define what the DNS servers we want to use when we're actually looking up name addresses in that context. We're going to identify which routing protocols that we want to redistribute into OMP. And we're also going to define static routes if we want to identify services such as traffic engineering or maybe it's firewall services. And then we're also going to identify network address translation or if we want to do route leaking.
