Importing a timelapse sequence into After Effects
- Time-lapse photography is one of my favorite types of shooting. It's where you capture multiple images using a consistent interval. For example, one photo every 10 seconds. And with it, you can show the passage of time whether it's a construction project being built or just the weather changing, this gives you a lot of flexibility to bring in content. But when you import these, you ultimately end up with a bunch of photos. These need to be assembled in After Effects into a movie. I've opened up a project here, and you'll see that it's already partially built. We've got the sources and assembled sequence. Well, let's bring that in fresh. I'll double-click in the empty area, and navigate to the lesson folder seven two. When you select the image, sort by name and take a look at the images here, and select the first in the list.
