How can I speed up an After Effects render for an animation?

- When it comes time to rendering, there are a few tricks of the trade to speed things up. Let's review some of the settings in there, as well as choices that we can use that are going to speed up this process. In this case, let's speed things up a little bit on the render. You'll notice that we want to output this a bit faster, and have some flexibility. Well, what we can do here is ensure that we're getting the fastest render, and that we take advantage of things. So I see that we've got this background layer, followed by some tint, and a little bit of a flare. Well, looking at that, that looks like it's pretty much static. So one thing you could do is swap that out for a static image. For example, if everything is set to full quality here, I could just save this frame as a file. And when you render that, if you take a look at the post render options here, you could tell it to import and replace usage. It…
