How can I speed up an After Effects preview for an animation?

- Now that you understand how to control Preview, let's look at some strategies to really speed it up, including how we can free up disk space or set some of the controls to really effect how fast this process is. In fact, you can even go in and have After Effects auto Preview when you're just sitting around thinking. In this case, let's take a look at a more advanced option. I've got several different things happening here with my previews. First up, I'm going to go in to background texture and Preview just this. I suggest you go into your Preferences here and take a look at the Media & Disk Cache. If you turn this on, it's able to actually use hard drive space to store frames, which works out quite nicely. Now let's take a look here and I'm going to Preview this at full quality. But remember, you can adjust and lower the quality if needed. Now those frames are cached to memory.
