Comparing document versions

- [Instructor] Word's track changes feature can show you what's been done by whom to your document, who's added text, who's removed it, as shown here. When you forget to activate the track changes feature, as I often do, you can resort to using the compared documents feature. This feature is available only in the program version of Word. The document you want to compare need not be open. Click the review tab shown here, choose compare, compare. In this case, I have my original as well as a copy return from an editor, who forgot to activate the track changes feature. So, I will choose the original document here and browse for it. It's conveniently named original. And then over here, I'm going to choose the duplicate, the one that's been edited or modified. These documents must be in this order, with the original version here and the modified version here because you want Word to show the changes from the original,…
