- [Instructor] Here are the recommended rules for creating a strong password, a mix of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, symbols, at least eight characters long, and don't use the same password on multiple sites. If you follow these rules and use the internet to any degree, you'll find yourself overburdened with passwords. For passwords on the internet, the web browser app may remember them for you, even filling them in automatically. You visit a site's sign-on page similar to this one, and you see your account name supplied along with a password, providing that your account on the web browser has a strong password itself, and the computer or mobile device has a strong password, this technique works.
