- [Instructor] Let me show you how to insert, delete, or clear rows or columns in Google Sheets using this Solar Panel chart spreadsheet. This file is named inserting, and you'll find it in the exercise files chapter three folder. If you want to insert a row or column between existing rows or columns, right click on a PC or Ctrl click on the Mac on the area that contains the column letter or the row number. I want to insert one blank row above my last row, so I will right click on the number 10 for row number 10. A menu appears and I'll select Insert one row above. A blank row appears above my last row. Now I'll delete one of my columns. I want to delete column B, so I'll right click or Ctrl click on a Mac on the column letter B. I get another menu and I'll select Delete column from the menu that appears. Notice I can also access this menu for a column by clicking on the small dropdown arrow on the column header.
