- [Instructor] In the last video, we talked about importing and converting Excel and open Office spreadsheet files into Google Sheets. In this video, we'll cover importing and converting data files, including .csv and .txt files into Google Sheets. You can also import other file types exported from databases, such as comma or tab-delimited files. When you import and convert another file type to a Google Sheet spreadsheet, you'll be able to edit and share that spreadsheet with Google Sheets. I'll show you how to import and convert with a comma-delimited file or a CSV file of solar products data that I'm working with. I'll start by making a new Google Sheet. From the Google Sheets menu tab, I'll click File, Import. I'll click upload on the right, and select that CSV file from my desktop. I'll click Open.
