Formatting cells, rows, and columns
- [Instructor] Google Sheets gives you a lot of options for formatting your spreadsheet cells, rows, and columns. You can find these formatting options under the Format menu, under the Keyboard shortcuts, which you can find under Help. Most of the time, you'll use the toolbar. When you hover over a formatting icon in the toolbar, you'll see a description of what that option can do. For example, when I have her over this B icon, I see a popup description showing me that the tool is used for formatting in bold. Let's look at how the formatting options work in Google Sheets. I'll show you using this Monthly Sales Report. You can change the format of a number to display it as currency. To do that, I'll select this whole Price column, then I'll click the Format as currency button. All the numbers were reformatted in US currency.
