Share a Power BI report
- [Instructor] We got this report by importing a particular file, a PBIX file. But often when we're opening a report, that report was shared with us either by the person who created the report or by someone else who received that report. Each time a report is shared, whether by the creator or someone else, the person sharing can choose whether or not the recipients can also share the report. So it is not the case that you can share every report you have access to. You may have reports you're not allowed to share, but how you find out is you click the Share button, and it looks like I have the ability to share this report with people in my organization, with people who already have access, or with some specific people. And note that after I share that report with a specific person or people, I can choose whether they will be allowed to further share the report.
