- [Instructor] Before we can do analysis with Power BI, we need something to work with. I'm here on the homepage, and at the top we have these recommended items. For example, reports and dashboards that have been created so that we can look at COVID-19 cases, gender equality, know how your content is up to date, lots of different types of items. And in large organizations, most of these recommended items will be items that have been created for you and for other people who do the same type of work that you do. But if you scroll down, you may also have items you have worked with recently listed here, or items that you've worked with and then favorited here on this tab. And you might be encouraged to download some applications that include data, as well. And they would be listed under My Apps. If I want to create a new data source in Power BI, the types of data that I can pull in now are data from Excel, data from a CSV, data from a published semantic data model. And if I were to choose…
