Configure your LMS integration
- [Instructor] With LinkedIn Learning Hub, not only can you integrate your own custom content and third-party content, but you can also integrate content from your learning management system, or LMS, providing learners a single, easy-to-use platform to discover all relevant learning. The LinkedIn Learning Hub LMS integration brings in assignments, progress, and content data such as courses, or a SCORM package, into the LinkedIn Learning Hub platform. Know that the integration is a manual CSV/SFTP process that requires an initial one-time setup in partnership between your L&D team, HR, IT team, and LinkedIn's technical consulting team. Then after that, the process can be automated moving forward. In the Customer Success Center, you'll find some valuable resources, including the Getting Started Guide, and here, I'm going to go up to Product Learning, Integrations, and I'll scroll down here and you'll see information on LMS integrations including this integration guide. I'll click on that and that's what I was referring to before. One important thing to note is that the process will take a while. At the time of this recording, it's estimated that it'll take about 20 to 25 working hours across a 9 to 10 week time period. On the next page of the Getting Started Guide is a list of steps that will need to be done, including things like a kickoff call, SFTP call, data mapping, and more. Here it shows you what needs to be done, as well as the stakeholders who will need to be involved. And then finally, we have the checklist to use when preparing to integrate the LMS. Again, it's notifying you that the process does involve several teams and does take some time, but once completed, it will save everyone time. So if you have LinkedIn Learning Hub and also use an LMS, this can be a very efficient way to keep all of your content in one location. This doesn't take the place of your LMS, but it integrates the content into LinkedIn Learning's platform. If it's something you plan to do, I suggest you read over who will need to be involved and get the process started right away.
