- [Lecturer] When it comes to analyzing numerical information, Excel has a wealth of tools available. Not only are there over 100 different financial functions, there are numerous mathematical functions. And also something that you might not have seen or heard about, a forecast worksheet. We're seeing one here based on the data over in columns A and B. And although there are other ways to create charts and use trend lines and use that technique, this is relatively fast and its underpinnings involve use of a function called forecast, which you may or may not be familiar with. So here's the idea. We've got some data. In this case it's in column A. It's about 50 days or so starting, August 2024, August 1st, into mid-September.
