Delete a conditional formatting rule
- [Instructor] Conditional formats give you important information about your data, but you might find that one or more of the rules you created are no longer necessary. If that's the case, you can delete them individually from within the conditional formatting rules manager or get rid of them all at once use the controls on the home tab of the ribbon. In this movie, I will show you how to perform both of those tasks. My sample file is 0508 delete, and you can find it in the chapter five folder of the Exercise Files Collection. In this workbook on sheet one, I have a pivot table that has three rules applied and I can see three different kinds of formatting. There are cells with boldface text and a white background. Then cells with a reddish or orange background, and then other cells that have a green background. So let's go to the conditional formatting rules manager and see what's going on.
