Create a PivotTable using the data model

- [Instructor] When you define relationships between Excel tables, Excel adds them to the workbooks data model. You can then use the data model rather than an individual table as the basis for your pivot table. And in this movie, I will show you how to do that. My sample file is 09_02 Pivot, and you can find it in the Chapter09 folder of the Exercise Files collection. In the previous movie, I created a data model based on the three tables in this workbook. And I can see the relationships that I created by going to the Data tab, and then at the Data Tools group, clicking Relationships, and there I have the relationships that I defined. They both reach out from the OrdersTable and go to CustomersTable based on Customer ID and the ProductTable or ProductsTable based on Product ID. I don't need to make any other changes so I'll click Close.
