Challenge: Splitting columns in Excel

(upbeat music) - And here is the splitting columns challenge. We've got three things, actually a fourth. Let's get some balloons going because this data set has awardees, RSVP statuses and their guests. One thing we want, a single list of the guests. We want Fatima, Leslie Carr, Joy, Armine, Septimus, Gordon, all of the guests. We don't want the awardees. Maybe we're trying to print up the name tags. Also, we want to extract the RSVP statuses for each awardee and then identify any problems with the data quality. Is there anybody who says that they're not coming, but they have guests listed? That's something to look into. Now, it's your turn. Open up that workbook and work those out.
