- [Instructor] Making charts and graphs in Excel can be a beautiful thing. It can also be a really deep rabbit hole. So we are not going to go very deep. We're just going to get down on our hands and knees and look over into the hole, okay? And I'm going to take you through something that actually happened to me. Here, we have this Test Prep data, the month, whether people bought books or classes, and then we have the Totals. This is easy if we want to know April's total was over $30,000. But we noticed that the revenues and the commissions that were being paid were really wild from one month to another. And so what I did was put the data into a graph just to see, it might not have shown me anything, but let's put the cursor inside the dataset, and then go to Insert. And then I'm going to insert a clustered column chart. Now, here are some interesting peaks in January, May, and September, okay? Let's clear some things out.
