- [Instructor] Wow, I can't believe we're at the end of the course. Well, you totally crushed it, but I'm sure you're wondering, how do I keep learning? Well, here's some tips for you so you can take this knowledge and keep using it to your advantage. Number one, ask for more projects. That's going to give you the ability to have to manage these projects. Now, I also want you to try to use these metrics. Actually, it can be really hard to figure out what the earned value and the plan value are, because that data is not always immediately available. Sometimes we have to make assumptions and use models to back into it. But I want you to try your best to use earned value management metrics when you can. And on top of that, I want you to create your own metrics, so you are not beholden to everything that the Project Management Institute tells you you have to track.
