- [Instructor] It's time to show you Power Query and how Power Query can help you clean up formats and get 'em consistent. Now, I'm sorry that Mac users don't have Power Query yet. The Excel engineers are working on that. At one time, Mac users couldn't even open a file that had Power Query in it. Now you can at least open it but that's all. So what I'm going to show you, you have to be on a full version of Windows Excel. We've got this data with IDs and the formatting is all over the place. The proper format is shown by Norma Danielson. The four digits, a hyphen and then two digits. It's shown again at Jodie Goldman. But let's see, Nalani Ward up top, there's a space in there. Vereena Heath has decimal places. There's slashes at Mami Dallman's name. And now one huge reason to do this with Power Query is because there's more data. Now, we got to pretend we didn't see this data at row 26 going down.
