Harvest credentials with the WiFi Pineapple
- [Instructor] We've installed our WiFi Pineapple, and we can now activate it as a rogue access point to start harvesting client devices. Let's log in. We're at the dashboard, and the first thing I'll do is get news, to confirm we have a good internet connection. Now, okay, we're good. I'll go to the Recon page, listed on the left, and I'll scan for access points. I'll take the default 30 seconds and start the scan. We can see a number of open networks, with an OUI of Orient Power Home Network Ltd. These are networks that we found on previous scans, and that the WiFi Pineapple is spoofing as rogue access points. We can also see a real network, COMFAST_AP, which is running WPA2. So we've done our reconnaissance now, and have a good idea of our wireless environment.
