- [Instructor] What do you need to know for the successful completion of this course together? Well, this course uses ArcGIS, Drone2Map and arcgis.com. If you don't have access to that software, you can use this course to evaluate if it's right for your project. I give you all the drone imagery in the exercise files for this course, so download them now and unzip them to your workspace. If not, you can still follow along. Also, if you have your own drone imagery, you likely can use that to replicate the exercises and the challenges in this course. Now, your drone imagery should have latitude, longitude, and altitude, and most of the American made Parrot drones and the Chinese made DJI drones will easily incorporate into Drone2Map. If you are considering a particular drone or series of drones for purchase, I always recommend to my students to check out drone review videos on social media sites before making a purchase.
