- [Narrator] Messaging extensions enable us to allow the user to call a service within the context of a channel chat or a conversation. That service can do something for the user at the backend or more likely it'll return some information to inform the user also that the user can incorporate that into the chat. These come up in quite a few places. The most obvious one is when I want to compose a new message. You will see the messaging extensions listed below here in these icons. So the most common one that a lot of people use is adding a gif or a sticker to a chat or when they're adding an emoji. So these are actually built in messaging extensions that come with Teams unless the team owner or an administrator decides to block them. If I click on the ellipsis, I can get a few more options and if there's room they'll get added into here as I add those and there's one here called Wikipedia. And if I type cheese in there,…
