- [Instructor] The next step is an optional one that will make it easier to identify problems on the page. If I come to the finished version, and we'll go to the document pages w to show my guides, and what we see here are these line numbers in the outside margins. So, with these I can now specifically say Page 22, line two, line three, et cetera. Perhaps you're communicating with a client over the phone. There's no left a bit, right a bit, up a bit, down a bit. You can just be specific about where the issue is. These of course, will not print. We're going to add them on the parent page so that they're available on every page, and I'm also going to add them on a separate layer. So, I'm on my A parent. I'm going to come to the Layers panel. While I'm here, I may as well rename Layer 1, text, come and create a new layer, which I will call numbers. I will deselect Print Layer.
