The middle scroll wheel
- I've been using DaVinci Resolve since it was first ported to the macOS over a decade ago. And one of the first things I learned is the importance of having a three-button mouse. It's as true today as it was 10 years ago. Then as now, the third button is typically a middle scroll wheel that clicks. I want to take a moment to show you why you should start using this type of mouse if you're not already. And just a side note, I'm using a track ball with four buttons, so I've got a scroll wheel around the track ball, and then I've assigned one of these buttons as the middle click. It works exactly the same way. Let's continue on our AOC spot conformed, which we'll be using for quite a while as our guinea pig as we explore these options. And what I'm going to do is come into the color page. And the classic reason for having a middle click is for color grading. So I'm going to do just a ridiculous color grade right now.…
