- Let's begin by looking at the most automated of performance optimizations, Performance Mode. Now, the key to understand about Performance Mode is that Resolve will automatically analyze your CPU, your GPU, any other additional video cards to automatically tune its settings, to help give you the most real time and interactive experience possible, and it is set to on for default. We're going to start by again, abusing OAC Spot Conformed. We're going to go into User Preferences and Playback Settings. And right here is Performance Mode. Now, I always run with it turned off, because my computer's pretty new, it's pretty beefy, and so, I rarely need to turn on Performance Mode. Many of you will probably find that it's set for automatic. And Automatic could very well disable itself.
