- Another piece of hardware that you can consider purchasing, especially if you do a lot of editing is the DaVinci Resolve keyboard editor. So this is a keyboard. For those of you that are old school like me, who got into the business in the mid eighties or '90s, this looks very familiar. This looks a lot like the Sony keyboard back in the day in our linear rooms. And it's dedicated, it's also kind of like the speed editor. The speed editor is basically this part of the keyboard editor and this little part of the keyboard editor. Get rid of everything in between and that's the speed editor. One of the nice upgrades on here is the jog wheel. So, yeah, I've got a jog wheel just like you have on the speed editor. When I go into shuttle, this also has a clutch.
