- In addition to everything we've discussed so far in this chapter, there are a series of additional Project Settings that you can tweak, to help you regain real time playback, or to help you fight against user interface getting sluggish. So, let's go ahead and open up our Project Setting, Shift + 9. In Master Settings, if I scroll back up to the top, Timeline Format is the option timeline resolution. Now, if you're working with UHD camera originals, or maybe even 4K or 8K camera originals, but you're working in a 1080 timeline, or maybe a 2K timeline, what you can do, is don't work at UHD or 8K, work at the timeline resolution of your deliverable. So, if your deliverables 1920 by 1080 work there. You could, even if your deliverable is UHD, but your computer's having trouble pushing all of those pixels, just drop your timeline resolution down to HD for when you're working, and then when you do your final render,…
