- Now that you understand about variable metadata and we've used variable metadata for naming clips, one of my favorite places to use variable metadata is on the deliver page during export. And I'll show you two different places where I like it. I'll jump into the deliver page. Now, one of my favorite places to use variable metadata is up here in the file name. But before we get started, because when you change these different selections here, you're very likely going to blow away your file name. So let's choose H264. So let's choose H264. We'll start there. Let's choose the location we're saving at which will be on the desktop. And now we're going to use variable metadata to name this file. So, I'm going to type percentage.
