- In our previous movie, we had done a really heavy slowdown on this shot. If I just go ahead and play it down, notice how clunky it gets. It gets kind of choppy. And the question is, can we smooth that down? And the answer is sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes ah. The thing is, you got to experiment and that's what we're going to do right now. I'm going to show you where you can go in order to experiment to see, well do I need to change and maybe speed up my shot so that it doesn't look so stuttery? Or is there maybe one of these tools in here that will smooth that out and kind of create fake in-between frames that make it look nice and buttery smooth? That's the goal. Let's see what we find. So the first thing we're going to have to do is enable caching. Let's make sure we've got our playback cache turned on, our render cache.
