- As we're talking about controlling saturation, this next tip I have to give credit where credit is due, which goes to colorist, Cullen Kelly. Fantastic colorist. You'll find him online. I urge you to search him 'cause he has a lot of really great tips. And this one is kind of nontraditional. It's definitely a power user move, but I thought it was fun and I thought I'd share it with you. So what we're going to do is go ahead and reset our node grade by right clicking on the node and resetting it. And what we're going to do is go into our traditional custom curve right here. Now by default, custom curves affect brightness. So if I add points in here, I can adjust brightness values and brighten areas up and darken areas down. But what it doesn't control is saturation.
