- Let's talk now about a feature brand new to Resolve 17 and it's also used for isolations, for tracking. It has its own built in tracker and that's Magic Mask. Now off the top, I want to let you know that it can be extremely processor intensive. So I tend not to run with this very often. I tend to use it when I really need to use it because you're going to have to turn on caching in order to get playback and it can be very frustrating, especially on a slower computer. So your mileage may vary and this is going to be a very quick introduction. What are the fundamentals you need to know to start using Magic Mask?
