Keyboard customizations: Which default keyboard should you use?
- Many of you who are learning DaVinci Resolve for the very first time are coming from other software platforms, other nonlinear editors like Final Cut Pro or Avid or Premiere Pro. And your first stumbling block is the keyboard and the keyboard shortcuts. Now there are a lot of keyboard shortcuts that are universal, J, K and L, established way back in really the mid-eighties, J, K and L for playing forward, back and pause. But there are a lot of other very unique approaches to keyboard shortcuts that differ between all the major software packages. And so you've got two questions that come to mind. Number one, is there any way for me to match DaVinci Resolve's keyboard to the software I'm using and number two, which set of keyboard customization should I use?
