- Just like project settings that have tons of different controls, and check boxes, and sliders to control all sorts of behaviors within a particular project, within DaVinci Resolve system settings, there's user settings that also have a whole bunch of controls. Now, the difference between those is, project settings only apply to the current project, whereas user settings tend to apply across entire databases. But what if you're moving to a new computer, or maybe you're doing a fresh reinstall of DaVinci Resolve, you've tweaked all of those settings, and you would love to either move them to another computer or reimport them after you do a fresh install of DaVinci Resolve.
