- Continuing from the previous movie, we are finishing our tour of the Resolve Interface. Here in the edit page, let's move our current time indicator over a clip with a transition. Now, open up the Effects Library, choose Video transitions, scroll down to Fusion transitions, scroll down and hover your mouse over a slice push. As you hover notice how the slice push transition is previewed in the record viewer, click and drag to replace the dissolve transition with slice push. Since this is a fusion transition, that's your indication that this effect was built using the fusion page. That means we can see the fusion page in action, but be warned. Fusion is very different from the rest of resolve. It's a very specialized tool set. Now, for those of you inclined, I'll show you how you can quickly view any fusion effect that shifts with DaVinci resolve as a tool to help you deconstruct how fusion compositions are created.…
