- As we start rounding out what you need to know about the color page here in DaVinci Resolve, let's take a look at the hue versus curves and the sat versus curves that start getting into what we call secondary corrections. What's a secondary correction? It's any correction where we're targeting a group of pixels and just adjusting those pixels while leaving everything else alone. So primary corrections, you're essentially changing every pixel in the image. Secondary corrections are isolated or targeted in one or more manners in order to change those set of pixels. And let's look at the curves that we use for doing that. So here in the curves palette, what we're going to do is take a look at the rest of the curves. So we've got hue versus, sat versus, and then a single lum versus curve. So what does this mean? Now, I take a look at the hue versus curve.
