- There's one more set of fundamental tools on the edit page that you need to know about, key frames. Let's go ahead and add a blur effect to one of our shots, and then animate that blur effect. So let's take this shot here, "Dad on The Basketball Court Getting Winded." Let's come up to our toolbox. So let's highlight our open effects, and then we're going to go ahead and let's open all of these boxes up so we see everything. And then we're going to open up our toolbar, and we're going to go, tilt, to pick up the tilt-shift blur. And let's double click to apply it to our selected shot. And then as we look up in the inspector, we have the tilt blur effect. Let's quickly set this up. So we want a lens blur, and we want to affect the depth of field. And what I want to do is set the Depth Matte preview so I can see where the blur is going to happen. So that won't happen in the blacks, it will happen in the whites. Let me…
