The four finger actions of the Speed Editor
- As we saw in the previous movie there are different interactions depending on what you're doing with the buttons. And on the Speed Editor, there are four basic types of interactions. There's the 'tap', the 'double-tap', the 'tap and hold', and the 'double-tap and hold'. Let's do a quick run through through these, and see how they work. So probably the most common double-tap that you'll do are on the In and Out buttons. Let me hit Play, and if I mark an 'In' and then an 'Out' and I'll Stop. Now if I want to clear my 'In' point, I double-tap. That clears my 'In', and it also happened to clear my 'Out.' Why did that happen? This confused me for a while. So what you have to do and have to realize is if I mark an 'In' and mark an 'Out' and I clear my 'In' after my 'Out' point, what it first does is it sets a new 'In' which clears that previous 'Out' point.
