Rolling and sliding with the Speed Editor
- [Instructor] There's one more set of commands we need to look at here on the speed editor when it comes to basically trimming, which is the roll and slide button. Now both of these are hold down command. So I click once and hold for the roll edit. And what it does is it goes to the nearest edit point. And now it rolls that edit point where I want. So I can precisely match my action where I want. And then if I wanted to go ahead and slip a little bit to better match the action on the cut. I can go ahead and do that. And then come back to my roll, click and hold and fine tune those aspects of the edit. The other thing that's kind of is the slide edit. So let's actually move down to another shot and let's find something to slide. Maybe this shot right here, we're going to slide. So I'm going to double click and hold the roll button. Now this shot moves its position in the timeline while keeping the actual in and out points…
