- With all the preliminaries out of the way let's start looking at the simplest way of getting footage into your timeline. And that's using your mouse, treating video footage as if it's a text editor where you're just highlighting text, clicking, dragging, and moving it around. And the first thing we're going to do is come up to the workspace. And we're just going to reset our UI layout because I want you and me to be looking at exactly the same thing. And now we've got this interview footage here. And if you don't have this interview footage pulled up, well, you can access your bins in this menu item in the upper left hand side. And so we've got our B-roll and our interviews. So make sure your interviews are pulled up. And now we've got our various interviews. Now, depending on your settings, they may or may not be in the same order as me. So let's go ahead and comp to the upper right hand side of our media pool and…
