Adding transitions
- [Instructor] Now, adding transitions using the speed editor is super, super easy. It works very similar to doing it in the user interface. We talked about this back in my resolve fundamentals course, but it's on the speed editor, so let's take a look at this. So remember, this is also based on the smart indicator. So this indicator shows where my next action will be, and if I look closely, it's going to happen here on V one, which I don't want. I actually want it to happen here on V two between these first two shots. So I'm just going to jog back a couple frames. The smart indicator updates and I'm going to press the dissolve button, and boom, right there it adds my default transition. If I want to turn that dissolve back into a cut, I just press the cut button and it's back as a dissolve. And then if I want to do a smooth cut, say to cover up a jump cut, let's actually come down here where there might be a jump cut right here…
