- [Instructor] Before we dive into the actual course, here is a quick look at the prereqs that you need to have to make the most of your learning. Now, if you know the fundamentals of data flows using ETL, or extract, transform, load pipelines, all of the things that we cover in this course will make much more sense to you. In this course, we do connect to and integrate with a PostgreSQL database, so some basics of SQL and connecting to databases will be very useful. And we also connect and retrieve data from Amazon S3 buckets. So working on the cloud with S3, again, a useful prereq to have. There is no specific language prereq, because NiFi is entirely drag and drop based. We only work with the user interface and will not be using any programming language.
