- [Instructor] Because of the hard work of inclusive thinkers before us, we know that to meet the minimum standard for video publishing you must have playback control and closed captioning. There are two additional features that will even further serve audiences and content creators, advanced playback controls and transcripts of video content. Basic playback controls include the ability to pause, stop, and restart content. Advanced playback controls also allow users to rewind, slow down, and speed up content, as well as toggle captions on and off and select caption language for display. Including advanced playback options improves the audience experience and decreases audience drop off. On the surface, closed captioning and providing a transcript don't seem all that different.
