People are spending their time online but the experience is not equitable. Most websites are not crafted with diverse users in mind. The pitfalls to avoid when building inclusive websites fall into two categories, layout, pitfalls, and content pitfalls. When designing for inclusivity avoid complicated layouts rather than spreading content all over the page. It's better to have a simple design where information is streamlined. This is helpful for neuro divergent users and those using adaptive technology like screen magnifiers. Avoid clustering buttons or links when buttons or links are tightly spaced, it demands precision to select one over another, which puts people with mobility issues at a disadvantage.
