- [Instructor] Revit understands that columns normally go on grid lines. It even goes as far as tagging that column with its grid intersection as we saw. It's this understanding that allows some more automatic functionality. It's this understanding that allows automatic functionality while we're placing columns. By starting the column command and clicking at the grid intersection button, we're placing columns all at once. Let's get started by jumping into Revit. Under models, I'll go open, or notice that you can see some of the models here, but we'll go models, open. Press where you're keeping your exercise files. I'll select the 02_02_Multiple_Columns.
