Alternative text for images using metadata

- [Instructor] In the previous video, I show you how you can leverage alt text for images using metadata fields from the placed image. Well, recently Adobe added a new metadata field literally for alt text and I'd like to show you that here. So I'm starting this video with the 0715 document open and I am going to go ahead and click on this graphic that's up here at the top of the page. This is page one here. And basically, if we go to our object export options by coming up here to the object menu and choosing object export options, if you click on the alt text dropdown, you're going to notice that there's a new field in here that we weren't seeing before and that is the XMP alt text field. This is a new metadata field that Adobe has added to all of their applications and it's really a brilliant addition because now we have a dedicated metadata field specifically for alt text.
